The global population is likely to hit 8.5 billion by mid 2030 and based on this phenomenon, Space10 (the guys behind the One Shared House 2030 quiz, see it here) collaborated with Central Saint Martins and University of the Arts London to design a speculative shared-living space for construction with Forest Gate in East London in mind. Instead of approaching this assignment by designing a housing complex, the students creatively thought of the brief in a series of stages involving research both into the place and its community. Relatable characters and their typical activities were thought out making this assignment as realistic as possible.
