The Garage Society opens their newest location, Garage Collective in Warehouses On West, Sai Ying Pun. Launching in November 2016, we talk to founder Elaine Tsung to find out what to anticipate for their new co-working space.
Can you tell us a bit about Garage Collective and what you have planned for GC’s new space?
Garage Society, a leading contemporary co-work operator headquartered in Hong Kong, is currently constructing Garage Collective, its newest location in Sai Ying Pun, that will launch in November. The new co-working space will become a game-changing lifestyle hub with the first-of-its-kind amenities in Hong Kong.
Garage Collective collaborates with Herbivores to offer our own F&B operation. Apart from our lifestyle event space, we also offer a lovely pop-up store space. And what’s more exciting is it will going to be a pet-friendly co-working space so members can bring their furry friends in too!
Why Sai Ying Pun?
We love SYP… who doesn’t?
It’s a great HK hood where new ideas are being made happened in a tradition set up. It’s the ideal home for Garage Collective because we are reinventing co-working, by bringing more lifestyle elements into a work space.
What do you like most about the area?
It feels like home, it’s very Hong Kong. We love the old ladies chatting around the corner, the traditional Chinese meds stores on the side but also this funky new restaurant opening across the street.
