Inspiration: Living room with a tree

Located in Kyoto, this house is built by an architecture firm named 07BEACH. It incorporates a double-height living room with an indoor tree growing at its center.  The double-height living room doubles as an interior courtyard, bringing plenty of daylight inside through a series of skylights on its roof.

At District15 we always strive to create space in the most sustainable and livable way possible.  This month’s inspiration reminds of the importance of continuing to pursue those ideals in all of our projects.
